Duke of Syracuse Expands Taxes on Poor But Gives The Rich tax Breaks
Sir Edward of Narnia Lancaster, England-Earlier today The Duke of Syracuse announced that he would be taxing the peasants as much of an increase of 4 gold coins a year!!!! This was met with huge revolts across the fiefdom with the dukes army quickly squashing any resistance. this could have been a better situation for the Duke because the peasants make about 25 gold coins a year, with an already high tax rate of 8 coins a year many are wondering how they will survive. King Artorius has yet to respond on the Duke’s measures because he is away fighting the Duke of Baylor, The Duke of Marquette, And The Duke of Butler all rebelling against the king because they feel as though the king has taxed them so they have to tax their peasants more and they will not stand for it. The Duke of Syracuse is also expected to join the faction putting in money and troops. The king as stated before has not commented but many peasants agree with the majority of the people in england that these taxes are too high. We asked a renowned economist Edward Von Waffle of Syrup, if he had any opinions on how these massive tax hikes would affect things. He said “These taxes are killing the Fiefdom and many others across the Kingdom. We need to oust this tyrant of a king before we all go broke and are living like beggars which many of us already are.” He also stated “i am trying to unite all of Britain against this king! if you want to join in, Bring a weapon, any weapon of your choice and either EMail or come to my house 1400 Peasant lane, in The Duke of Baylor’s Fiefdom.” So we at the Medevil Times would also like to call you to action. Staying Healthy in the Middle Ages
Why and how you should be healthy Lord Duos D’Vulpes Of North Utumnoh Hello this is Duos D’Vulpes with your weekly health column. Lets see what questions we have today. Dear Duos, My Local Healer says to soak in swamp water and salt daily, but my local Wizard says to use a touch of lavender in warm water after having boiled it to a scalding temperature as I would my tea! I am so confused! Who should I listen to? From Osker Katon, Head Scholar of York Well, if you consider the facts, salt dries meat. Meat is made from animal flesh. Therefore, salt dries flesh. Listen to your local wizard. He knows about magic and animals and Sheep ‘n’ stuff. I really like liver. I eat it all the time. Is it good for me to eat liver so much? I sometimes eat goat cheese with it. Is that bad? I get chest pains and constipation a lot too! WHAT DO I DO? Laffdaff Bahaha Local Shepherd to the Satyrs Well um... Mr Laffdaff, I don't think liver and cheese has anything to do with it. Do you eat a lot of beans? If you don't, I would suggest doing so. Dear Lord Duos, I have a problem. Is it good to have a black cat cross my path over a broken mirror on friday the thirteenth, at my house address which happens to be 1313 on 13 street and my birthday being 13/13/13 while walking under a ladder? Liroi Superstitii First of all, there are only 12 months in the year, secondly, I think you should consult a wizard, not a health specialist if you are so superstitious. I really think you have a problem with things and should sort it out with some alone time. Thank you for considering me up to this challenge, however I can’t answer your question. I had a stroke while drinking tea. What is wrong? Avery Spoonmuffin Nothing is wrong, you just had too strong of a tea. I have a problem with allergies what do i do? Egbert Fredward Ulcertom II of Whintervale If your allergies are seasonal, i suggest staying indoors. however, if they are not, go to the Vatican. They solve all the problems of the world. |
Weapons: Melee or strategic?
The Rapier or the Broadsword? Lord Duos D'Vulpes Of North Utumnoh People are always arguing about which is better, Strategic weapons, of Maylee? I’ve always been a strategic kind of guy. However, different occurrences call for different methods. To measure it up, it all boils down to the rapier Vs the broadsword. Ever fought a Dragon? if you have, you’ll know that this takes no small amount of effort. Dragons are huge beasts that breathe fire, have adamantite scales, and can fly. Sometimes it may take trickery and traps. Other times it may take straightforward battle. The situation is key to what style takes precedence. Personally, I would rather use both if possible. Best of two worlds. Unfortunately, that isn’t always possible, because the supporters of either side are bound to disagree at times. Everyone has their own specialty. no one is the same. but similar people will take similar ideals. If I am born French, and my friend is French, then we both will support the French king. But if my friend is English, we have dissimilar views. |
