On Monday, we should have a normal day in the kingdom. It will be partly cloudy the whole day. It should be a good day for jousting because the sun will not be in our player’s eyes.

Interview Dante Alighieri
Dante was a major Italian Poet. He has had many accomplishments in his life.
Isha - Well let’s start off with the basics. Who were the members in your family?
Dante- Well my mother died when I was very young, I was only ten years old, and family descended from the early Romans. I also had a family that was loyal to the Guelphs, which was a political alliance that supported the papacy or the right of power to the people.. I was betrothed when I was twelve years old to Gemma. But before we got married I fell in love with Beatrice Portinari. I wrote several sonnets on her, he says looking lost in his thoughts
Isha- Did you have children with Gemma
Dante- Yes, I had four children Jacopo, Pietro, Giovanni and Antonio
Isha- Did you write any poems about Gemma?
Dante- Why no I haven't.
Isha- Why not
Dante- I loved Beatrice ever since, age nine. It was love at first sight.
Isha-Speaking of your childhood, did you have an education?
Dante-I studied at home and I also studied at a school that was attached to a church. Later I dedicated myself to philosophical studies.
Isha- Befor your work in philosophy you were a poet right?
Dante- Yes, I didn't start philosophy until I was in mid-twenties.
Isha- What was your most famous poem.
Dante- the name of my poem was The Divine Comedy, which was about the three tiers of the Christian afterlife: purgatory, heaven, and hell.
Isha- I heard that you were going to be exiled, is that true?
Dante- Yes, it is.
Isha- So where to do plan to go after you are banished.
Dante- To Bologna.
Isha- Now on to the next question.......
Dante- I’m sorry to interrupt but I have to leave.
And that was all that Dante said before he rushed out the door with a solemn face.

Being clean is good!
Our society in these horrible times doesn't know how to handle curing the plague. Living a life without being clean doesn't protect you in any way from the sickness. The only thing it does is make it worse. Our kingdom will die even faster if we don't stop doing this.
By having a more unclean life we will not only NOT stop the plague but increase our chances of getting other diseases. Dirt, smoke, sweat etc. will make you smelly and you will have greater chances of being infected by these things. No one wants that to happen. Also, washing yourself doesn't cause any sickness, being clean is perfectly safe. There is no reason for us not to wash ourselves.
The plague has been going on for awhile now and many people are dieing. Some people are saying that it will help if we get ourselves dirty and let it build up. This is definitely not true! Scientists are expecting the plague to last until fall 1352 if we don't do something about the plague. Lets stay clean!
Letting dirt and other chemicals come on our body will not help. Keeping this kind of stuff on our body will make everyone smelly in this castle. And, it will infect any kinds of wounds we may have, and that can get you sick. Overall, the idea of letting things build up on our bodies is just a very bad idea that doesn’t work.
Washing yourself doesn’t increase your chances of getting the sickness. It helps you from not getting the plague actually.
“Cleaning yourself allows the bacteria to get off your body” said the Jon the Philosopher.
I encourage everyone to go wash yourselves as much as you can. Hopefully you all go home and wash yourselves immediately. We can save lives of many if we stay clean. Staying clean might be the answer to stopping the pestilence. If you don’t want to get sick, Then go wash yourself! Nobody wants to be sick!
