Imagine a lowly peasant working on a manor, struggling to survive, but making it through everyday life. Now imagine his fair king, who has done everything for the good of his people, losing his rightful ultimate power. Now the peasant who had a guardian angel watching over him is supposedly given “all the rights he needs.” The acclaimed “rights” only end up harming the man more than it helps him. With his newfound rights he also obtains more responsibilities. His family slowly falls into a massive amount of debt and will most likely have family sold into slavery, if not himself.
The time has come to forget about all of our past flaws in government. From the king to the smallest peasant, it must be understood. The time for talking of “freedom for all” and “the right to do whatever you please” is done! Now is the time to accept the monarchy as the ultimate form of government!
A monarchy is a type of government in which the ruler takes order as the single leader with all power. Murmurs of ancient “democracies”, although very distant in the past, have always been floating through the air in today’s age of incredible forms of government. Although it may be hard to believe, people just are not as happy as they should be. It is time to learn that the monarchy is truly the ultimate form of government, and to extinguish the talks of “For the people, by the people” rubbish.
To begin with, a monarchy offers many advantages that a democracy does not. With monarchies, you are not forced to contemplate the important decisions that may end up effecting your life. According to a study conducted by the king, seven out of ten peasants have said that they do not want to have more choices and responsibilities than they already have. The lower class feels pressured enough. The upper classes also are happy with a monarchy. People in the upper class feel as if they do not want to lose their many responsibilities, so it balances out perfectly with the lower class.
A monarchy also provides more jobs for everyone, while a democracy lacks that. With a monarchy the king has ultimate power so if the king decides to give someone a position that will be the final word. With democracies, everyone is expected to find their own job without a king to guide them. Monarchies provide a more personable and reliable way to get jobs.
In conclusion, monarchies offer a completely different dynamic to government. It assures that the people will be happy as well as the king and his assistants. It aids in job production and makes an environment where everyone fits in. Here’s what you can do! Expel any talks of democracy and “freedom”. That isn’t what you want! Monarchies are the key to true success for Europe.
Jousting
Sir. Strong Spalding - Udolf
Jousting is a martial game between two horsemen and uses lances, often in tournaments. The primary aim is to strike the opponent with the lance while riding towards him at high speed; if possible, breaking the lance on the opponent's shield or armour , or unhorsing him. Many people believe that it is not a sport, But I do.
What makes jousting a sport, first of all, is that jousting has a lot of physical contact. Second of all, because it involves a lot of skill, focus, and hand - eye coordination.
There is a ton of physical contact in this sport, considering that two men are on horses riding full speed at each other, trying to hit each other with their lances. I think the extreme physical contact makes this a sport, but not just any sport, an extreme sport. I think this is a sport also because there is a high risk of death involved; you could get a bruise or get your head cut off. Not only is it dangerous for you, but also for your horse who could be slain, seriously wounded or killed with the debris of the lances hitting the armour of the men.
Another reason why jousting is a sport is because of the immense skill it involves, such as focus, upper body strength, the ability to ride a horse, balance and hand - eye coordination. All these attributes are key in jousting. With this much work going into something it has to be a sport. This makes it something that can be taught and trained for.
Why It Isn't Good to Convert People to Their Religion
Collete De Blays
The pope took vows from all those willing to become a crusade. Once that person becomes a crusade, they would gain temporary benefits. If someone was able to get a benefit just for vowing that they’d help fight for the church, wouldn’t some of those people take advantage of it? There are some pretty greedy people out there. Since the pope got help from christians, they were called the crusaders. Crusaders were of the christian faith.
The Crusaders were very religious people. Even the word meant a religiously motivated campaigns. The Crusades was a religious war and they let the church basically have their own army and that army would attack people when the church started to feel threatened. Not the most civilized way to deal with things. Also what's more is that they forced other people to be the same religion as them because they believed everyone should be following their God.
Since the crusades was a holy war, it didn’t end like a fairy tale. Each crusade attack didn’t exactly leave anyone unharmed. The pope had crusaders attacking people. Those people were Islams. Not the Jews, but the Islams. They killed around 3,000 Islams. They were men and women. All because they weren’t christians and the Islams weren’t christians. The war lessened when the pope passed away.
Women ARE NOT Equal
Cecily Zantorian
Men are constantly working- slaving over their work just to make ends meet for their family. They put food on the table, and when the time is right, must offer a dowry to the family of their son-in-law. What exactly is their reward for this? Wives complaining of the wonderful lives they already have. They want “rights” and “professional jobs” and freedom to dilly dally as they please! Women have no idea what they’re getting themselves into and most likely believe that working professionally is an easy task. And what exactly do they know about freedom? They would turn into barbarians and get social disorder with too much freedom. Women must be kept in line!
A professional job is no nonsense. All women have ever known is the simple life of cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the young ones. How on earth would they understand the hardships of working and earning money? I am thankful that my husband works to support our family, because I know that I couldn’t handle the workload of a real job. Us women are safe and relaxed staying home and doing chores. So why are some women so unhappy with this lifestyle?
There are far too many women in this world complaining of a lifestyle that most peasants would be begging for. A life of luxury instead of slaving all day!
